these are the pics from the CCM sunshine coast trip on 1st week of semester... love the mountains and hills...looks like LOTR...somewhat..okay..not really but still lovely.. some of the nice pics were taken by David in the moving bus..i got not not enuff skill ..haha

the "big barrel winery" or something like that..

posing outside a scottish-irish shop in Montville

random pic before we left for memories..nice colours ma..

me n pei ..she finished a dual law degree like 5 years ago? and just found out we have quite a lot in common...^^
hmm..haven't gotten hold of the group pic yet fot the paintball session on the 2nd week of semester...but i got a battle scar..shot in the neck (will be a fatal wound if it were a real bullet in real life)....hmm the weird thing is it doesn't really look like a paintball mark (which should look like a halo kinda bruise). It looks like cat scratched me or a really really bad hickie......which totally did not happen. But it is still a scar ...good conversation starter with strangers in tutorials tho..^^ the experience? rather expensive for one...costs around 35 bucks to play...not too bad but if u reallly wanted to play properly you will have to reload ammo which will cost another 10-20 bucks...or more of u were like some of the slightly aggresive aussies running around with 6 ammo canisters strapped on them...icks. Although i consider myself not very girly..dont think paintball is for me..the stinky damp ill-fitting helmet...the overbaggy camouflage tunic, the trying to keep ur balance down the sandy slope while getting sniped at or sniping someone is very exhausting. Prob the Singaporean guys ex-NS liked it..haha. must be a male-bonding thing. If I had to shoot someone, I'd rather do it virtually in the comfort of my home. total ratio of girls who went compared with guys? 1:6. Why did I go? Just for the fun of it..it's something I want to try once in my lifetime thing...haha
went for 1st year law dinner (again). Didn't actually wanna go..went for one last year..how different could it be? But got persuaded by my law kakis because its my first year at UQ blablabla...food was good..i had lamb shank...there was a trivia game where they asked things like name all the judges in the High Court of Australia...or who said this quote..but they also had other witty nonsensical MCQ questions where 3/4 of the answers were entirely stooop so everyone could get that rite..actually I would rate it better than last year's flinders first year dinner...i dont know..ambience was better? The bad thing about the nite was after sending Shumin back home ..me and Chris missed the last bus...(it came early!!!-.-) which resulted in a long walk back..5 km? dont know...Here's a very general pic of the ambience of the dinner...

hmm...have been noticing that Singaporeans speak chinese quite a lot..at least those here. So have been speaking chinese sometimes too...quite strange...i seem to speak chinese whereever i go...msia or here..which is a good thing i suppose...just that ppl rarely start speaking to me in chinese because i don't seem the type? hrmms..my neighbours cook super well..and they sing too! lotsa chinese songs...yeah man..i just detected that there is chinese radio show on friday nites..coolies..can keep up to date with all the mandarin music now that i dun have astro..getting bored of jay chou now...
