O-week came and went...the highlight was Market Day. Market Day in UQ is practically a clubs n societies pasar malam (nite market) where clubs and societies parade their wares, namely their memberships .....haha but they give nice goody bags too with useful and useless brochures, discount coupons and sweets. lets see..wat did i join...malaysian society (so loyal to my country =p), hong kong students society (so not loyal to my country but they look kinda happening...so like that la!)
tired this whole week..taking 2 buses to uni...fixing internet, getting ready to move house, lectures....pah! but its been good too ..going to dinners and lunches with CCM and church ppl..
taking 3 econs subjects and 1 law this term....it seems that wheneva i tell someone i am doing law/econs they look at me with semi-interested "oh i see..." or awe-inspiring "awesome..such a tough course!!" ..........so what have i got myself into..out of the frying pan into the fire again? yes i have an inkling feeling tat i have to go both extremes of the spectrum..maths and stats for econs and wordy essays for law...gosh..did i fail to plan again??? 30/40 restuarant near the tennis courts at uni serve nice chinese food (another random and useless fact)
anyway the campus here is beautiful!!!! will post some pics soon...for now just living life...
