hellooo!

yes i am still alive ...just have been occupied and lazy to blog...

yesterday was the single girl ME TIME session. me and my leftovers dinner and snacks and curled up on the couch with a rug and watching a romantic comedy :P all i lacked was a tub of ice cream...hahahha...but it was enjoyable i watched ..Raising Helen..old show i know but i dun remember watching it so got it from the video store..was good.

otherwise yea, spent time with family, going around town, buying stuff for the kids..and then round two began with sean im and ally up frm tasmania...went to surfers and had this wackiest photo shoot done with costumes from the 1930s kinda, frilly dresses etc. no digital copies i'm afraid...too bad. we waited like more than 2 hrs in the whole day for trains and buses...no pics yet tho ..still waiting for 'em.

Otherwise i have started this job thingo doing 10 hrs a week....settlements and legal errands. still on training tho but ya thank God for the opportunity...and workmates are really helpful too..get to see things beyond the everyday uni life and meet ppl very diff from me. one thing i admire about the locals is how working part time is so part of thier normal life. they need to work to pay bills etc and for them, even saving a few thousand is great already and they work like 3 days a week or more and study at the same time too. i wonder how they manage, i guess diff from asian culture where our parents work thier whole lives to pay for our education and we in turn only study during semester coz the fees are our parent's sweat and blood. here the govt gives them study loans so in a way there is "free education" till u start full-time earning dough of ur own...and a lot of ppl choose to live with thier partners since their 20s, away from family..renting and doing everything on thier own...yea eye-opener..i mean a lot of time we are aware of this, just never met ppl who are actually living it and talking to them about thier life..its refreshing i guess..

holiday project plan: painting.
