hm i finally went to an Ikea in Australia...so happy!!!!!!!!!! though it is small and cannot beat BU Ikea in msia...but was alright. Finally got to buy a pack of plastic clips to clip opened cereals and noodles packets...until now had to salvage rubber bands from vegetable bundles to use..so sad.. hahahhaa..girls day out on saturday..had chinese brekky at sunnybank (pei tan chok!) followed by some board games and chilling at pei's house watching taiwanese sattelite tv. perhaps i have a rather ah-lian side? hmm............................................................
the ads are rather interesting. how one same car model Nissan Tiida can be advertised in a completely different manner in different countries. You can actually see what their culture is generally like. The Australian ad was laced with sexual innuendos...
loving unlovable people. i don't mean loving in a romantic way but loving them as people. sometimes it is hard, especially when they are ongoingly doing something u dun like, or we don't feel like the other party has helped fill our lives in a fulfulling way..still working on it.
today was church membership. was a rush to get a pair of black slacks from indro shopping centre because i can't fit into my old one (-.-'''') . did reception today at church. i never officially joined a church before on my own. i hope it will be a great journey with others learning from one another, serving God as well. trying to cure my commitment-phobia-because they grass may be greener on the other side- thing.
felt happy last tuesday. helped a friend with her uni work and she improved lots on the current quiz. feels good being able to help out in some small ways. When people say "God answered my prayers coz i found u to help me.." it really makes your day and u thank God for that opportunity.
wonder how this week will be like. i have an intention to get a job at the back of my mind but i never act on it. sigh. exams are so near too. A journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step. I should listen to that.
