had quite a full last weekend...schoolies (school-leavers) week just started here....so gold coast is full of teens who just finished their yr 12 exams....apparently this whole week is gonna be a big party and fun activities for them...tho this time of the year is also notorious for fights and drinking and stuff like tat...i was at surfers on saturday, pretty packed, there were stages and beach huts at the beach blaring out funky music....looks kinda fun but its not my kinda thing..i rather have quiet clean beaches with soothing music and cool drinks then beach parties all week...taking public transport down to the coast is tiring...i had to take a total of 4 buses and 3 trains during the day..sigh....supposed to go to seaworld but due to some miscommunication, bad planning, and failure to read discount vouchers we ended up going to surfers paradise again..=)yummmy yummmy seafood lunch...we decided to splurge since we saved on tickets to seaworld..haha

took a ferry ride along the brisbane river (my first time!) ...the wind was chilly...but it was quite fun...nice nite views....the ferry was called a CityCat......cat probable means catamaran coz of the boat's shape
